You certainly took alot of time with it and well worth it.Its a stunning piece Charles, I love it !
Very nice. I like making things too. When you worked, did you work as a craftsman?
Jeanne , No I did not work as a craftsman I started making things after I retired .I started out with real crude things an gradually worked up to to what I make now .Lots of hours ,mistakes, and scrap in bettween .
I don't know if you read my reply on my own blog. I grew up quite near you, in VT.
I'm hoping to find time BEFORE I retire to build a dollhouse from scratch, furniture and all.
Jeanne Yes I read your comment on your blog after posting an answer to your comment on my blog .Wow is thats confusing or what .Any way Vermont is a beautifull state . My son lives in Essex junction Vt which is just outside of Burlington.I made a doll house and furniture several years ago for my grand daughters . I will have to put a picture of it here in a few days .
Did your age just change from 71 to 72, or is my memory decieving me?
I've stayed in Essex Junction with an old boyfriend who grew up there. His father worked at IBM, James Schumacher. An amazing thing happened there, actually, and now that you've reminded me of it I believe I will recount it on my blog. Thank you!
Jeanne Good news your memory is fine I did reach 72 today .Speaking of Essex Junction IBM my son worked there for a few years . His wife and her brothers and father still work there.
Happy Birthday.
Our son turned 19 yesterday, the 12th.
I believe my message of birthday wishes is a little belated but what the heck. All the best indeed !
'Happy birthday Charles'
